Liam is enjoying life as a one-year-old!  He is making some animal sounds, particularly "meh" for moo and "papapapapa" for hop-hop (bunny).  He's also good at "so big!," yet to be captured on film but soon I hope.  He loves going outside to help water the grass and digging his hands into the pots of dirt.
We are doing some story/music-times at the library and testing out some Little Gym and Kindermusik classes for the fall.

Also, I love finding recipes online and am no expert but wanted to share this easy recipe for salsa my friend Kerry here shared, it’s been fun experimenting with what’s available at the farmers market.

Basically just start with some tomatoes (we’ve been doing 4-5) and peppers (we did 2 serrano peppers with half seeds and it was pretty spicy, are trying some jalapenos next).

Cut them all in half and place face down on a foil-covered baking sheet.

Put under the broiler until blackened on the top.

Remove and put them in a food processor along with whatever else sounds good – onion, garlic (a little goes a long way), lime juice, parsley, cilantro, even avocado.

Blend it up, toss the foil and serve!
