We are loving baby Brigid! She joined us last week on April 23 at 10:14am, weighing 7lbs 14 oz. and measuring 20 inches long. She kept us guessing, we had a false alarm Sunday night and I had contractions for the next two days until Tuesday night they got closer, so we took the kiddos to a friend's at 7am, got to the hospital at 8 and Brigid came a little after ten! We got to have a nice 2-year-old celebration for Grace on Tuesday, and hope they'll like having b-days one day apart in years to come.
Liam and Grace are falling right into their roles as big siblings, love giving her kisses and singing her their favorite songs like Winnie the Pooh, Do-Re-Mi and Lets Go Fly a Kite. Liam's favorite nickname for her is Mary Poppins and Grace sweetly asks after Baby Brigid first thing when she wakes up or returns from school. Baby loves to be held and does not like to be cold or changed, she makes lots of sweet coos and snorts and eats and sleeps pretty well!
