Kiddos in Fall

We have had a great fall so far, mostly at home in Tulsa with a quick trip up to ND for the USC game last week, where Liam and Grace were troopers and loved seeing the Dome, Grotto and other sights they know from their books. We had a great time seeing college friends and hanging out with Gigi, Papa, Nana, Grandpa and Uncle Pat. Earlier in October we enjoyed a visit from Uncle Tim and Aunt Lindsay to Tulsa! It was a chilly day at the pumpkin patch but we stuck it out and Liam even got in a pony ride.

Liam is doing great, he is really conversing and asking a ton of questions including a lot of "how does it work?" He is trying to give up his nap but I'm listening to him read books to himself right now so we are at least enjoying a little quiet time.  He loves riding his bike, playing hide and seek and hopscotch, drawing spirals, and can almost write out his name (did it backwards last week). He is also often wrapped up in adventures with his imaginary friends Jumeemydy, Babbo and Beebo.  He loves Corduroy and that was his costume this week!

Grace is becoming a little spitfire, she loves dancing and being silly. She loves pointing out pumpkins and apples this fall, both of which are kind of "ba-pa." They both loved the airplanes last week and she now points at the sky when she hears any noise and says "bair-pay." She knows "eat," "milk," "more," she can really communicate and is definitely not a baby anymore. Which works out, because we are expecting a new baby in April!
