We have had a busy, memorable, wonderful last few weeks in celebrating two brothers' weddings and seeing lots of friends and family. Liam and Grace have been troopers on our summer roadtrips, they are definitely a couple of big kids and buddies to each other. Liam is making some progress potty-training, thank goodness! Still a ways to go but he is interested in sitting, starting to recognize when he needs to go and definitely motivated by the marshmallow incentive. He started up his preschool this past week again and is doing great. He is getting very imaginative, likes playing pretend and interacting with his imaginary friend "Jumee-my-dy" and his dog, sister, friends, etc. He loves the outdoors and going on "adventures" and "exploring." He likes dancing, his favorite move is a special break-dancing / wheels-on-the-bus hybrid. And he loves picking out letters and numbers wherever we go.
Grace is really coming into her own too, she is a board book fanatic and loves to say "doggy," "hot," "uh-oh" and just recently mama and "ee-ah" for Liam in addition to daddy. She lights up when daddy gets home. She likes taking part in dance parties too, singing songs and fingerplays, and is already bold and brave in the water. She is no shrinking violet, she loves attention and cheesing for the camera.
